Another blog

I guess I have been inspired lately. My mother has been checking out blogs and keeps forwarding them to me. My first blog was just an information tool really. When I was pregnant with my 4th child and my water broke at 23 weeks, I was admitted to the hospital for an indefinite stay until the baby was mature enough to be born. Out of that came my first blog. It started while during my 30 day hospital stay as therapy really. It gave me an outlet to "talk" since I was alone most of the day. Then once Ryan was born it gave me an outlet to deal with his time in the NICU. Once he was home from the hospital, I blogged less and less. Partly because he was doing great and partly because I had a new baby and who has the time to blog with 3 wild boys under 7 and a new baby!

So now I am wondering what else is out there for me in the blogging world. I love to decorate, although, I have 4 small boys who keep me busy just cleaning up after them. I love to have parties but, it is a huge ordeal to get my house clean enough to have guests over. Once the party is over it takes me months to recover and decide to do it again. I love to bake, but usually when I have the time to bake I have to make the tough decision between much needed sleep and making a fabulous dessert. I am sure you can guess which choice I usually make. I love all the sites my mother has introduced me to that are doing Tablescape Thursdays. As you can probably guess, most of my friends are fellow mommies, and most don't even know or care what a tablescape is.

I am hoping that starting a blog with a mix of all the things I love, tea parties, cupcakes, holiday's, entertaining and decorating I will be inspired to find the time to more of the things I love. I may not get a tablescape done every Thursday. I will probably be lucky to get one done once a month. I may not get to try a new recipe every week or decorate for the holidays like I dream of, but as time goes by I am hoping those things will happen. I might as well start now.
